The new Deore components have top of the range qualities for mountain biking, trekking and cross/hybrid riding. The new Shimano Deore components have been developed from the top of the range groups and so include low profile gears, Rapidfire Plus levers with double disk. The brakes have been improved thanks to a new system of oil channeling that avoids bubbles. They can be adjusted without the need for tools thanks to a closing system. A V-brake version will also be available with the Center Lock disk. The new DEORE MTB FC-M590 is made from two pieces with solid crank arms, integrated bottom bracket, and external bearings that improve rigidity but lose weight. Available in silver and black.
Shimano is also introducing components for trekking and hybrid bikes.
These include the Top Normal gears, and three finger levers that include anti-vibration systems to produce a silent ride. The DEORE
FC-M591 cranks are two-piece with HYPERDRIVE rings. They are available in 44-32-22D, 48-36-26D combinations.
Of course the components offer an excellent quality to price ratio.
