The new September date of the Milan EICMA bike show means that the 12th edition of the
PedalatAzzurra can take place during the show.
The mass ride is organized by EICMA and the Italian Cycling Federation and entries can be made right up to the start at 8.30 on Sunday morning by cyclists with a licence or doctor’s certificate.

The
65km route starts from the south entrance of the
Rho Exhibition centre and includes the
Ticino Park and the
Grande Navigli canal.
Paolo Tagliacarne of the Milan cycling group Turbolento hopes that future editions can lead to the creation of a permanent route, with the Lombardy region following the idea of the Eroica dirt road ride in Tuscany.
Participants do not have to wear an azzurro jersey but organizers hope they will buy one of the special jerseys made by Santini to create a blue river of cyclists on Sunday morning.
