20/09/2009 - Bianchi at EICMA: an ‘Infinito’ success for the new frame

Condividi
Italian bike manufacturer Bianchi has developed the new ‘Infinito’ carbon fibre frame continuing the C2C philosophy with further emphasis on high-end performance, in terms of rigidity, stiffness and weight without sacrificing the comfort.

The Infinito model was used by Team Barloworld professional rider Robert Hunter during the 2009 Giro d’Italia. The frame has a taller head tube, longer chain stays and a longer wheelbase that makes the bike easier to handle.

The new 928 SL IASP is the evolution of the 928 SL frame for 2010. It stands out for its integrated seat post that helps improve rigidity and responsiveness. In addition the nano technology in the carbon fibre improves crack resistance. The frame is available in modern colour schemes, with touches of red, orange, green and blue, as well as the legendary “Celeste Bianchi”.

Bianchi not only produces road bikes but also mountain bikes and city bikes. The 2010 Methanol SL MTB model is a superlight frame (weighing only 1170g) with innovative technology such as an integrated seat post and BB30 bottom bracket. It is the result of two years of development and one year of off-road testing. The Methanol attracted huge success at EICMA, with orders being placed by dealers every day.
