An exhibition area dedicated entirely to this type of motorcycle, based on a format already present at Eicma 2010 with “The Green Planet”, an area dedicated to ecosustainable mobility.
The idea was triggered by the healthy “pressure” placed on the show by companies, tuners and enthusiasts. However, emotional stimulus aside, it is above all justified by the figures: in fact, it is a growing market – unlike other segments – and the number of Custom and Touring vehicles, which now account for 17.5% of sales, is slowly but surely rising.
The accessories sector, both as regards technical accessories and the associated "look", is equally as important and is becoming more and more dynamic, as are the enterprising specialist publications.
These elements are behind Eicma’s decision to create a sort of “Custom Centre” within the most prestigious meeting of the world motorcycle industry, with the objective of putting the Custom segment forward on an international level and concentrating everything into a special separate area.
Many companies and tuners, some of whom have been attending the Show for some time already, have expressed the need to come face to face with the mass public, as well as to acquire international visibility, in order to expand their horizons.
The Custom City area will be located in Hall No. 2, the same hall that has historically played host to Harley-Davidson, Big Bear, CR&S, Headbanger, Confederate, Zero Engineering, Gray Indian’s Collection and many more.
