After 2009 absence, Honda’s comeback to EICMA was packed with expectations the Japanese company definitely lived up to with a great-fashion presentation held, on Tuesday November 2, in the Auditorium of Rho-Pero’s fair. Ten new models were unveiled to the European market, driving the Tokyo’s company into a new era of its incredibile history.
New Crossrunner was the main protagonist on the stage: a new concept “born from our customers’ demands, as they were asking for a strong and powerful bike, with a Naked-style versatility, but with an adventure desing”, European Moto Sales Director Alexandre Kraus explained. Crossrunner provides a vibrant riding experience, with the push of a 800cc 4V engine, combined with a upright position on the bike: a bike designed for any season and any path.
CBR600F also deserves a place among Honda 2011 highlights: a symbol of the Japanese brand since its very first version, in 1987, CBR600F is back to combine handyness and outstanding performances, to suit developing as well as experienced riders.
Honda attention for urban motorcyclists is represented by new SW-T600, a big-sized, high-category scooter: comfort, power, agility and dimensions make SW-T600 a real alternative to four-wheels.
Honda also presented new SH line, Hornet, CB1000R, CBR125R and CBR250R, and two very captivating concepts, characterized by a dual-clutch system that sets new standards in terms of power release smoothness.
