Everything is ready for the opening of the 67th edition of the EICMA International Motorbike Show. On Tuesday, November 10, the six huge halls of the biggest motorbike show in the world will be open to the media and industry specialists, with all the latest new models of motorbike, clothing and accessories on show.

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi will open the EICMA show during an official ceremony at 11:00 in the Sala Martini. Berlusconi’s presence at EICMA confirms the special attention Italy gives to the world of two wheels. In September Environment Minister Stefania Prestigiacomo opened the EICMA Bicycle show and two months later Berlusconi will be in Milan for the motorbike show. As well as Berlusconi, there will also be the president of the Lombardy region Roberto Formigoni, President of the Province of Milan Guido Podestà, the Milan mayor Letizia Moratti and EICMA president Guidalberto Guidi.

Under the management of Costantino Ruggiero, all the EICMA staff are working on the final details of this year’s show. On Thursday EICMA will confirm its international status with the official announcement of a partnership between EICMA and China Chamber of Commerce for Motorcycle and the Genertec International Advertising & Exhibition Ltd for the creation of a new motorbike show in China.

The 67th edition of the EICMA show has 1.341 brands on display, with exhibitors from 31 different countries. From Thursday November 12, the show will also be open to the public and thousands of motorbike fans will invade the stands to see the latest new products. There will also be numerous extra events, including the Moto Live outdoor arena that will offer a shot of adrenaline to every EICMA visitor.
