The corporate strategy, which aims to develop more and more trendy models with an innovative design, has proved successful and has enabled Italwin to become a partner of
Ducati for manufacturing the first electric bicycle with the Borgo Panigale brand.
This collaboration gave birth to
Pearl City (men's and women's versions ), presented last year, and
Cucciolo, the new object of desire with a perfect balance of form, technology, eco-sustainability and innovation, with a touch of elegance.
The electric bike Ducati Cucciolo, an obvious tribute to the small italian engine that marked the origin of the Ducati production, has been designed in red and black with an attractive vintage style. It has an aluminum frame and the battery is contained in a rear profile, so that at first glance it looks like a traditional bicycle. Cucciolo is also embellished with leather saddle, grips, mud flap and tool bag from Brooks England, a british company that makes handcrafted leather saddles and accessories, and that is a reference for all lovers of vintage bicycles.
The other Italwin models that will be presented at EICMA, renovated in components and look, are:
Eagle Elite and
Eagle Lux, electric bicycles for man. Handy, light and fast, suitable for moving in traffic and along bike paths. Quiet motors, Shimano gears, NiMH or lithium batteries, range up to 60km.
Prestige Elite and
Prestige Lux, maintain the same technical characteristics of the Eagle series, but are particularly suitable for women due to the lower step-through; fast and environmentally friendly bikes, aesthetically appealing, with high performance and long range.
Tommy Lux, a folding electric bicycle. The lightness and the ease with which it is folded and unfolded, make it ideal for the marine and camper use.
Beauty Plus, with a third-generation brushless motor, Shimano Megarange gears, quiet motor, lead acid or lithium battery, a range up to 50 km.
Spring Plus, the highly demanded entry level model, with a very low step-htrough. The quiet and efficient electric motor also provides 50 km of riding range.
The electric bicycle is now seen as the commuting mean that provides the greatest benefits in the short to medium range: you can use bike paths and lanes and access areas restricted to traffic, moving nimbly and effortlessly, without the parking problems of private vehicles or the timetables restrictions of public transportation, at very low cost, over 300km with 1 € electricity.
