
YDFM,
Young Designers for Mobility, is a new EICMA-promoted exhibition involving young designers and design students, in order to give them a chance to show their creative work, projects and researches in the mobility area.
Designers have an increasing role in the mobility market and production, as testified by the widening diffusion of small-sized motorcycles and scooters in the city streets.
The need for different options then car mobility leads to an increased interest for two-wheels vehicle, as a solution to the traffic congestion problem, but also a unique kind of vehicles in terms of emotions and sense of freedom.
“Young designers for mobility” is looking to get in touch the business and formation worlds, spreading the knowledge of mobility and environmental projects developed by young designers and researchers.

The experimentation of innovative solutions and new vehicles and infrastructures types will be the exposition’s guidelines, with in mind the concrete applicability of such technologies and ideas in the future.
It will be possible to visit the exposition for the whole opening time of EICMA 2010, until Sunday November 7th, in the Pavillon 4 of the Rho-Pero Fair.
