Over the last years of their bicentenary history, Peugeot showed great attention and sensibility for environmental concerns, as testified by the development of several prototypes and concepts with more and more ambitious targets in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency.
E-Vivacity, the new scooter presented at the 2010 EICMA show, is the final accomplishment of 15 years of studies in the electric field, and represents the final concretization of the concept presented at EICMA 2009. E-Vivacity is a zero-emissions scooter, 100% electric: a revolution in the urban mobility sector. A fun and handy vehicle, with excellent acceleration performances, thanks to light weight (115 km) and reduced dimensions, and a 45 km autonomy in urban context, 60 km at a steady pace.
E-Vivacity’s lithium batteries can be fully recharged in 5 hours, by just connecting them to a ordinary domestic electric plug, and are projected to bear at least 1000 complete charge/run-down cycles. E-Vivacity is not only a very comfortable and eco-sustainable solution, but a very cheap one too: thanks to full-electric supply, the energy costs are lower than 20€ a year.
Citystar is another new model by Peugeot: a 125cc touring scooter, characterized by a captivating and compact design, great performances and comfort, and also an excellent energy efficiency rate (3,5 lt./100km). Available in four colors, Citystar is ready to become the new protagonist of urban mobility.
